In the 1 July 1903 Petoskey newspaper an Open Invitation

"An old fashioned basket picnic will be held at 'Wooddale',
the home of C.J. Wooden on Walloon Lake, July 15th.
Everybody invited to come and bring their basket."

The people in the photos below are all unidentified. Most of the photos below were submitted from the collection of Ross Renwick (unless otherwise noted), along with other photos definitely related to Walloon Lake, so it is assumed that these unidentified photos are connected somehow with Walloon Lake, as well. If anyone can identify anyone in the photos, or identify the surroundings in the photos, please refer to the number listed below the particular photo, and let me know.

In photos # 9 and # 10 below, I think the lady in the head bonnet, and the two children closer to her are the same as the lady and two children in the photo on this website standing by the three men beside the Bear River. The one man's name in that Bear River photo MAY be Harry Taylor. Does anyone know any more about these people?

It is assumed that this photo below submitted by Louisa Taylor was taken at Walloon Lake,
and could possibly be inside the rollar rink???

The photo below was labeled with first names only L>R: Barb, Dave, John, Lee, and John. I do not remember Barb's last name, but Dave was Dave Stauffer, and John was John Minor. What are the last names of the two on the right hand side... Lee and John's last names???

Lee has been identified... Lee Johnson.
